Dennis Felix Edwards passed away on November 21, 2022, at the age of 84. Born in Logan, Utah, Edwards later moved to Ogden before relocating to Torrance, California.
Edwards was born to Felix Henry Edwards and Viola Winger Edwards. While living in Torrance, he learned shoe repair from his father. His professional career included working as a turret lathe operator at Douglas aircraft and working as a roofer. He also worked at a movie theater, which he considered his favorite job.
In December 1988, Edwards and his wife, Ruby, moved to Preston, Idaho, to care for his parents. During his time there, he eventually took over his father's shoe repair business. From March 2005 to September 2006, Edwards and his wife served a Spanish-speaking mission in Trujillo, Peru.
Edwards was survived by his wife, Ruby; an older sister, Veronna; and two younger brothers, Keith and LaMar. He was also survived by six children, 38 grandchildren, and 45 great-grandchildren.
Services were scheduled for Saturday, December 10, 2022, at the Preston North Stake Center in Preston, Idaho.
