A new dining destination is coming to the Ogden-Hinckley Airport as UTOG owner Carson Foss prepares to open Full Stop Diner & Pub. According to a report published August 28, the brewery's second location will feature an aviator theme and marks the first time alcoholic beverages will be available inside the airport terminal.
The new pub will be located outside the secure screening area and is expected to open in October. The establishment will serve breakfast and lunch, and will also offer a selection of four drafts, canned brews, and a full liquor bar. The venue features seating along large windows and an outdoor patio where patrons can watch aircraft and travelers.
Foss, who is also a Delta Air Lines pilot, stated that the opportunity to combine aviation and brewing was a way to pursue two passions at once. The menu is expected to include seasonal offerings, such as a Pushy Pumpkin pale ale, available on the patio this fall.
The addition of Full Stop Diner & Pub is part of a $5 million terminal expansion project at the airport. This project included the completion of a new baggage claim area and the introduction of nonstop flights to Orange County, California, via Breeze Airways.
Airport Director Brian Condie stated that the pub adds an important amenity that reflects the airport's aviation culture and the city's commitment to local businesses. UTOG was selected for the location due to its local ownership and community connections since opening in the Thorstensen Building in 2019.
The new location aims to serve breakfast and lunch crowds, as well as individuals looking for appetizers and drinks after work.
