Salem Hills High School has announced a series of upcoming events for the start of the new school year, including an open house and welcome week activities. According to school announcements, the back to school open house is scheduled for Monday, August 17th, from 3 PM to 5 PM, allowing students to find their classes and meet their teachers.
The school is also hosting a welcome week from August 17th through August 21st. Deon Youd stated that students are encouraged to get involved in the activities planned for the week. For students interested in concurrent enrollment, a registration night was scheduled for August 12th to provide assistance with UVU registration.
Other upcoming school dates include picture day, which is set for August 25th and 26th. Students can preorder photos at bellphoto.com using the prepaid code SALEMHILLSFALL2026. Additionally, the school noted that free and reduced lunch applications for the 2026-2027 school year are now open via the LINQ app.
The school's calendar also features various athletic and extracurricular events, such as the Orchestra Salem Days Parade and various sports practices and meetings.
