Salem Hills High School conducted its graduation ceremony on Wednesday, May 20th, at the UCCU Center in Orem. The event took place at 2:00 pm following a series of senior recognition activities held earlier in the month.
Senior Awards Ceremony Details
A Senior Scholarship and Awards Assembly was held on May 7th at 9:00 a.m. Prior to this, seniors were asked to report all received scholarships via the SHHS Scholarship Reporting Form by a deadline of May 1st. The counseling office handled notifications for students receiving specific recognitions.
Spring Senior Activities Overview
Other notable spring activities included the Snow College Snow Blast for seniors on April 10-11 and a Career Night at the ALC on April 13, which focused on criminal justice, emergency services, and public health.
Scholarship Opportunities and Tracking
The school's counseling department managed numerous scholarship opportunities throughout April, including awards from the America First Charitable Foundation, Mountain View Hospital Auxiliary, and the Utah First Credit Union Music Scholarship. Students also utilized the Keys to Success app to track academic activities and scholarship notifications.
