Bank of Utah is hosting its annual Warm Bodies, Warm Souls clothing drive to provide winter essentials to local families. The drive is scheduled to take place from Oct. 19 through Nov. 20, 2026.
Participants can bring gently used winter gear, such as coats, gloves, or blankets, to any Bank of Utah location. Alternatively, individuals may make an online contribution directly to the drive fund via the organization's website. The initiative aims to help local non-profits respond to the rising costs of winter, which can strain household budgets when families must choose between essential items like boots and other necessities.
This year's effort builds on previous community generosity. Last year, Utahns contributed 561 bags of clothing and $10,040 in monetary donations to the cause. The drive connects donors with various organizations, including Great Dane of Utah, a Salt Lake City trailer dealership that participates annually by having team members donate brand-new coats provided by the company.
Donations from the 2026 drive are intended to support several Utah organizations and programs. These include the Cache Community Food Pantry, Tremonton Community Pantry, The Family Support Center in Brigham City and Ogden, Catholic Community Services (Joyce Hansen Hall Food Bank) in Ogden, The Lantern House in Ogden, Bountiful Community Pantry in Bountiful, Crossroads Urban Center in Salt Lake City, and The Road Home’s Men’s Resource Center. Other recipients include Heber Valley Center Stage / Christian Center of Park City, Community Action Services and Food Bank / and Care Coalition, The Well (formerly Hope Pregnancy Center), United Way of Eastern Utah, Tabitha’s Way, Switchpoint, and the Cache Valley Humanitarian Center.
The drive offers an opportunity for individuals, families, and businesses to assist neighbors in need as winter approaches.
