The City of Taylorsville will make a draft of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) available for public review and comment starting September 16, 2026, according to a September 14 notice.
The report for Program Year 2025 reviews the status and accomplishments of activities funded by the CDBG program and evaluates progress toward the city's five-year goals. The document will be available for a 15-day period at the Taylorsville City offices located at 2600 West Taylorsville Boulevard and on the City CDBG website.
Public comments regarding the report can be submitted in person or in writing to Dina Blaes by September 30, 2026. Once the 15-day comment period concludes, the CAPER will be submitted to HUD.
The CAPER includes a fair housing element designed to assist the city in overcoming fair housing issues. This involves ensuring equal access for individuals regardless of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, familial status, or disability, as required by the Federal Fair Housing Act.
Taylorsville City is encouraging participation from all protected classes and offers translation services upon request if contacted at least 24 hours in advance. For individuals with vision or hearing disabilities, the city provides auxiliary aids and reasonable accommodations if notified at least three business days in advance.
The City of Taylorsville Hall is accessible and meets American Disability Act standards.
