Naples City is accepting bids from qualified contractors to assess, furnish, and install a new battery backup system at the Naples City Office located at 1420 East 2850 South.
The selected contractor will be responsible for evaluating the building's existing electrical system and backup power needs to determine the appropriate system capacity and estimated runtime. The scope of work includes furnishing and installing a complete battery backup system with all necessary electrical components and modifications. The contractor must also obtain required permits and inspections, test the completed system, and provide operating instructions and warranty information while adhering to applicable codes and manufacturer requirements.
Bidders are required to inspect the building before submitting a bid. Site visits must be completed by September 3, 2026. Bids from contractors who do not complete the required site visit may be rejected.
Each bid submission must include the contractor's name and Utah license number, a description and specifications of the proposed system, the proposed capacity and estimated backup runtime, the total project price, an estimated installation and completion schedule, warranty and maintenance information, and any exclusions, assumptions, or optional items.
Bids must be received by September 3, 2026, at 1:00 PM and submitted to Naples City at 1420 East 2850 South, Naples, Utah 84078, or via email at naplesroad3@gmail.com. Naples City will consider price, proposed system, contractor qualifications, completion schedule, warranty, and overall value when making an award. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive minor irregularities, request additional information, or cancel the solicitation. Received bids will be presented to the City Council at the next regularly scheduled City Council meeting.
