The Lewiston City Planning & Zoning Commission scheduled a public hearing for September 16, 2026, to consider a proposed rezoning application, according to a September 4 notice.
The meeting is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Lewiston City Council Chambers Club Room, located at 29 South Main Street in Lewiston, Utah.
The hearing will address a request to rezone two parcels located near the 400 to 500 block of South Main Street on the west side of the street. The parcels, identified as 09-016-0019 and 09-016-0018, consist of 38.15 acres and 40.5 acres, respectively.
Michael D Jewell, acting as an agent for property owner Dan L Wright Lewiston Partnership Ltd, submitted the application to change the zoning from A-10 Agriculture to R-1-10 Residential. The purpose of the hearing is to collect public comments regarding the proposal.
