The Fayette Town Council has released an agenda for its upcoming meeting scheduled for Tuesday, September 8, 2026. According to a September 4 notice, the meeting will begin at 7:00 PM at the Fayette Town Hall.
Mayor Jed Bartholomeu will facilitate the meeting, which includes several items on the agenda. Scheduled topics include the election and appointment of a new mayor, a discussion regarding a town ordinance for people living in camp trailers, and a review of expenditures and minutes.
Additionally, the council will hear from UDOT regarding a local fiber project and receive updates from Dani Tailor concerning Gunnison Valley Hospital. Other agenda items include discussions on bids for repairing damaged roads, updates on flood damage funding, a report from Sanpete County representative Linda Christensen, and updates on spring, water, and P&Z matters.
