The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) has contracted with Hames Sand & Gravel to apply a new chip seal coat and fresh lane striping on Fillmore Main Street. This project is intended to improve road quality and driver safety throughout the community.
Work is scheduled to begin on July 6, 2026, with an anticipated completion date of August 8. Crews will work from 7 am to 7 pm, Monday through Friday, with the potential for Saturday work if necessary.
During the project, traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction within active work zones. Additionally, side streets and business driveways will experience brief temporary closures of one hour or less as crews progress down the street.
