The Pleasant Grove City Council is scheduled to hold a public hearing on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2026, to address multiple community items, according to a notice published August 18. The meeting is set to begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Community Room at the Police and Court Building located at 108 S 100 East.
The hearing will include a discussion regarding a vicinity plan amendment for a property located approximately at 3620 N 1590 W in the Manila Neighborhood. This request by Lafe Harris involves approximately 12.079 acres of land, specifically Parcels #14:004:0362 and 14:004:0365, within an area bounded by the Murdock Canal Trail, 1590 West, 3620 North, and the western boundary of Pleasant Grove City.
Additionally, the council will consider the adoption of the Pleasant Grove Downtown Master Plan. This plan is intended to provide a comprehensive vision, recommendations, and priorities for the future of the downtown area.
Another item on the agenda involves the adoption of an updated Storm Water Management Plan (SWMP). This update includes new standard operating procedures, new appendices, and other necessary changes.
