The 32nd annual Antelope by Moonlight Bike Ride is set to take place on July 31, offering cyclists the opportunity to traverse Antelope Island State Park under the glow of a summer full moon. The event, themed 'Disco After Dark,' will feature a pre-ride festival at the Antelope Island Marina beginning at 7 p.m.
Festival Activities and Schedule
Organized by Discover Davis in partnership with Antelope Island State Park and sponsors Chevron and Intermountain Health, the ride is designed for participants of all ages and skill levels. While the specific date of the event changes annually to align with the best possible night sky during July, the core festivities remain consistent.
The evening's programming begins at 7 p.m. at the Antelope Island Marina, where riders can view the sunset over the Great Salt Lake. According to Davis County News, the pre-ride festival will host local vendor booths, food trucks, and music, alongside thousands of dollars in prize giveaways.
A highlight of the pre-ride festivities is the Costume and Bike Decorating Contest. This competition encourages riders to present creative, glowing designs for judging. The contest check-in begins at 7 p.m., with judging scheduled for 8 p.m. and winners announced by 8:30 p.m.
Following the festival, the island gates are scheduled to close at 9:30 p.m., with a rider line-up occurring between 9:35 p.m. and 9:55 p.m. The official 24-mile round-trip course will open to cyclists at 10 p.m. To conclude the night, post-ride refreshments will be available from 11 p.m. until 1 a.m.

Registration for the 2026 ride is currently open but will officially close on July 29. The event utilizes a tiered pricing structure based on age:
Adults ages 13 and older are priced at $40, while children between the ages of 5 and 12 can register for $35. Passengers aged 1 to 6 may participate for free, provided they are secured in a bike seat or bike carrier.
