Concrete pouring for the South of Draper Section Project is scheduled to begin as early as Thursday, Nov. 5, 2026. This work is part of ongoing canal work and is expected to continue through mid-February 2027.
To ensure crew safety and reduce congestion at the worksite, concrete pours will occur three days per week. These operations are scheduled to take place between 4 a.m. and approximately 8 a.m.
Residents may notice temporary lighting for work operations, which will be directed away from the neighborhood. Expected impacts include noise from equipment and work activities, including white-noise backup warnings. Officials stated that crews will attempt to minimize noise disruptions whenever possible and trucks will not be routed through the neighborhood.
