The Utah Department of Transportation has begun work to improve safety, traffic flow, and pedestrian accessibility at five intersections along Main Street (SR-13) in Brigham City.
Work is currently underway at the intersections of 100 North, 100 South, and 200 South. These improvements involve replacing and upgrading traffic signals as well as improving gutters, curbs, and sidewalk ramps.
As the summer progresses, UDOT is scheduled to complete additional improvements at the intersections of 700 South and 990 South.
While all intersections will remain open during the project, drivers should anticipate lane shifts. The project may also involve sidewalk closures and pedestrian detours. Officials advise motorists and pedestrians to use extra caution when traveling through these intersections.
The construction work is expected to be completed in early September.
