Construction of new right-turn lanes onto Pony Express Parkway was scheduled to begin August 24 at Woodhaven Boulevard and Silverlake Parkway. The project is expected to continue through October.
During the construction period, drivers should expect lane restrictions in the area and should allow additional time for travel. As part of the project, Red River Drive will be closed at Woodhaven Boulevard.
Traffic traveling to and from Red River Drive will be detoured to either High Noon Drive or Moon River Drive. Drivers are encouraged to follow posted detour signs, use caution around construction areas, and plan for possible delays.
The work is part of infrastructure improvements involving the intersection of Woodhaven Boulevard and Silverlake Parkway.
