The Eagle Mountain Planning Commission will hold public hearings on September 8, 2026, to consider updates to the city's Culinary Water and Wastewater Master Plans and Infrastructure Facilities Finance Plans (IFFP). The hearings are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at the Eagle Mountain City Council Chambers.
The proposed culinary water update includes adding the Spring Run/Talons Cove area to the IFFP to address improvements needed for water demand. This update also incorporates updated cost estimates for future projects due to rising construction costs.
Regarding wastewater, the city plans to update the Wastewater Master Plan and the Wastewater IFFP to include the Spring Run/Talons Cove area. Similar to the culinary water update, this revision addresses necessary sewer flow improvements and includes updated cost estimates influenced by rising construction costs.
Materials for the hearing items are available on the city website and at the Eagle Mountain City Recorder’s Office during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Open portions of the meeting can be viewed at www.eaglemountain.gov.
