Housing & Residence Life scheduled Resident-Palooza for Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026, at Cedar Hall Circle Drive. The event is the first Housing Wide Activity of the year for all current residents.
The event was scheduled to run from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and was free for all current housing residents. Guests were permitted for a $5 cash fee, though they were not eligible for prizes.
Activities scheduled for the event included a mechanical bull, a Cliff Hanger Giant Slide, light tag inflatables, a splash dunk chair, and lawn and carnival games. Other attractions included temporary tattoos, snow cones, cotton candy, and corn dogs. The SUUPD Motorcart driving course was also featured, where participants wear beer goggles to simulate how an intoxicated person thinks they are fine while driving. Additionally, the CCFD was scheduled to demonstrate how to put out an actual fire with a firefighter.
Participants were required to provide proof of a completed digital or physical risk waiver at the check-in table to receive a participation wristband and a prize ticket. Prizes scheduled for the event included projectors, vacuums, air fryers, SUU swag, security safes, and Bluetooth portable speakers.
