The Payson City Planning Commission is scheduled to hold a public hearing on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, regarding a proposed zone change for a residential development, according to a September 10 notice.
The hearing will focus on a request to amend the Payson City Zoning Map for approximately 2.07 acres of land, identified as Utah County parcels 300720134 and 300720029. The proposal seeks to change the area from an R-1-A Residential Agricultural Zone to an R-1-75 Residential Zone.
According to the notice, the intent of the change is to utilize the RMO-1 Two-Family Residential Overlay to develop a planned residential community consisting of up to 19 single-family homes.
The meeting is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. at the Payson City Center, located at 439 W Utah Avenue, Payson, Utah. Participants may also attend the meeting electronically via Zoom Conferencing.
