The Project Alta Summit will host industry leaders, manufacturers, and policymakers in Salt Lake City on May 26-27, 2026, to advance the development of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) through strategic collaboration and infrastructure planning.
Summit Venue and Purpose
Hosted by 47G, the summit will take place at the Ken Garff University Club located within Rice-Eccles Stadium. The event aims to bring together stakeholders building aircraft and those enabling the systems required to scale AAM technology.
Day One: Manufacturing Focus
The first day of the summit will focus on the manufacturing ecosystem and production readiness. According to 47G, discussions will cover the supply chain, materials, propulsion, certification pathways, and capital formation necessary to bring AAM aircraft to market at scale.
Day Two: Infrastructure Integration
The second day of the event will center on the infrastructure and integration required to operationalize flight. Scheduled topics include vertiports, energy and charging networks, airspace integration, regulatory coordination, and community readiness.
Key Speakers and Participants
The summit agenda features several prominent figures, including 47G CEO and President Aaron Starks, University of Utah Vice President of Research Erin Rothwell, and former FAA Administrator Michael Huerta. The program also includes representatives from the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) and the Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Development.
