Intermountain Healthcare has announced two upcoming Heartcode Basic Life Support skills classes scheduled for November 2026 at facilities in Logan and Ogden. The training sessions are designed to prepare healthcare professionals to administer high-quality CPR and facilitate the early use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

CPR and AED Training Focus
The Heartcode BLS curriculum is specifically intended to train healthcare professionals in life-saving techniques. The training focuses on two critical areas: providing high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and ensuring the early use of an AED during cardiac emergencies.
To secure a seat in either the Logan or Ogden sessions, participants must complete a registration process through Intermountain Healthcare's secure system. The registration process requires the submission of personal information, including first name, last name, email address, phone number, and full residential address.
Registration and Technical Guidance
Upon completing the registration form, participants are redirected to a secure webpay site to finalize their $30 payment. Intermountain Healthcare offers an option for registrants to receive email confirmations and event reminders by selecting a preference for email communications.
The organization notes that registration emails may contain confidential information. Users who encounter technical errors during the registration process, such as a reCAPTCHA error, are advised to ensure they are using the correct secure URL starting with https://intermountainhealthcare.org/ to successfully submit their information.
Course Availability and Deadlines
The two scheduled classes offer limited capacity for healthcare workers seeking certification or skill reinforcement. The Logan session provides 12 available slots, while the McKay-Dee Hospital session in Ogden provides 10 available slots.
Both sessions require registration prior to their respective deadlines in early November 2026 to ensure a seat is reserved for the professional training.
