The Utah County Academy of Sciences Board of Trustees has scheduled a meeting for September 15, 2026, according to a September 10 notice. The meeting is set to take place from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 940 West 800 South in Orem.
The agenda for the meeting includes a pledge, public input, and a report from principal Jennilyn Derbidge. The board will also review the approval of minutes and expenditures and financial reports for August, as presented by Tara Merryweather.
Additional agenda items include a first review of Policy JR Section 504, a review and approval of Policy IJ Ath., Music and Drama Part., a proposal to waive parent night, and the approval of days and graduation credits waivers. Jennilyn Derbidge is listed for several of these items.
A closed executive session is scheduled for the purposes of determining the value of an asset and developing a strategy related to the sale or use of that asset.
