All Utah County Health Department offices will close on Thursday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth, according to an announcement from the Utah County Health Department.
New electric vehicle assistance program
In addition to the holiday closure, the Utah County Health Department announced June 17 that applications are now open for the Utah Electric Vehicle Replacement Assistance Program (EVRAP), which assists income-qualified residents with replacing older vehicles.

Intermountain Healthcare's Layton Hospital continues to provide 24/7 emergency services and various health and wellness classes. The facility also offers Level Care at Home services to provide medical treatment for chronic or urgent needs within a patient's residence.

Intermountain Healthcare has highlighted several advancements in cancer care, including the use of precision genomics for personalized therapies and new technology designed to prevent breast cancer recurrence. The hospital also noted the passing of Elder L. Tom Perry on May 30, who died from thyroid cancer less than two months after his diagnosis.
