Week of October 5–8
Principal's Message
Dear Aviator Families,
This week is SEP Conference Week, and we are looking forward to welcoming you to Amelia Earhart!
SEPs are an important opportunity for families, students, and teachers to come together to celebrate progress, review where students are now, and set goals for continued growth. We want every student to know that the adults in their lives are working together and believe in their success.
During your conference, please take time to talk with your child's teacher about their reading and math progress and goals, ask questions, and discuss ways we can work together to support learning at school and at home. Families of students in grades 1–3 may also review their child's Individual Reading Plan (IRP), if applicable.
Early Release Schedule
Please remember that our schedule will be different this week due to conferences:
Monday, October 5–Thursday, October 8: School releases at 1:00 p.m.
Friday, October 9: Regular Friday release at 1:30 p.m.
Please make arrangements for your child to be picked up or arrive home at the earlier time Monday through Thursday.
Thank you for making time to attend your child's SEP conference and for being our partners in their education. We appreciate our Aviator families and look forward to a great week of conversations, celebrations, and goal setting!
