The Rockville Planning Commission is scheduled to hold a public hearing, regular meeting, and work meeting on Oct. 13, 2026, according to a notice published Oct. 6. The meeting will take place at the Rockville Community Center Town Hall, located at 43 E. Main, Rockville, Utah, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
During the scheduled public hearing, the commission will take public comments regarding a proposed zone change for a parcel owned by Anthony Jones. The request involves changing the zoning of Parcel #R-1305-A-1-F-1 from Open Space 20 to Rural Residential .5. The 21.18-acre property is located at 140 E. Grafton Road. Following the hearing, the commission will discuss, review, and provide a possible recommendation regarding the zone change.
The agenda also includes consideration and possible approval for a permit for the Butch Cassidy Run, scheduled for Nov. 14, 2026, for the Town of Springdale. Additionally, the commission is scheduled to discuss and review updates and clarifications for the Land Use Code during a subsequent work meeting.
The meeting agenda includes the approval of minutes from the Sept. 8, 2026, regular and work meetings.
