Clinton Elementary held a Starry Night Read-A-Thon on July 20. Librarian Mrs. Mitani and various participants attended the event.
The event was supported by sponsors identified as the Utah Community Builders.
Ongoing Open Library sessions are scheduled for July 28, August 4, and August 11 from 9:00 to 10:30.

Clinton City scheduled two public hearings for August 25, 2026, to address the proposed West Clinton Annexation and updates to Accessory Dwelling Unit standards. The meetings will take place at approximately 7:00 p.m. in the Clinton Council Chambers.
The Clinton City Council discussed creating new committees to increase council involvement and improve communication with staff. Proposed committees include advisory groups for communications, heritage days, code review, audit, and emergency preparedness.
Clinton is rolling out recycling carts with pickups scheduled to begin the week of August 17. The city will also celebrate its 90th anniversary of incorporation on August 17, 2026.
