Free mental health check-anns are currently available for students in grades K-12 within the Iron County School District. The sessions, which take place during the months of June and July, are provided by qualified psychologists-in-training.
These therapists are supervised by licensed full-time or adjunct faculty from the Department of Psychology at SUU.
The check-ins are held at the Iron County School District Office located at 2077 W. Royal Hunte Dr. in Cedar City, which is situated across the street from the Cedar City Aquatic Center.
To participate, a parent or guardian must be present for the entire duration of the appointment. Additionally, a new consent form is required to be completed for these summer counseling services.
Appointment availability is limited for these 25-minute sessions. Interested parties can schedule an appointment through the official registration system.
