The Grantsville City Council will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. to receive input regarding proposed amendments to the Grantsville City Land Use and Management Code.
The proposed changes affect Chapters 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 14, 15, 16, 20, and 21 of the code.
According to the public notice, the amendments are intended to improve the organization, clarity, and administration of the Land Use Code. These revisions include updates to definitions, formatting, and cross-references.
Additionally, the proposed changes involve modifications to certain development standards, procedures, and approval criteria.
The hearing will be held in person at Grantsville City Hall, located at 429 E. Main Street, Grantsville, Utah, 84029, and electronically via Zoom.
Public comments may be provided in person or electronically. Written comments can be submitted to City Recorder Alicia Fairbourne at afairbourne@grantsvilleut.gov. To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by 12:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting.
The full text of the proposed ordinance changes will be available for review at least 10 days before the hearing at Grantsville City Hall during regular business hours, as well as on the city's official website and the Utah Public Notice Website.
