The Farmington City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 17, 2026, to consider several development and rezoning requests, according to a September 8 notice.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. at Farmington City Hall, located at 160 South Main Street. One item on the agenda involves a schematic subdivision and an amendment to a Project Master Plan and Development Agreement for the R1 Sage Townhomes project. Located at approximately 1771 W 950 N (North Station Lane) for Garbett Homes, the amendment focuses on considering a front load garage product with private backyards instead of the original rear load product with more common area.
Additionally, the commission will consider a rezone request for approximately 0.36 acres of property at 37 South 200 East for Marty Curtis. The request seeks to change the zoning from the existing OTR-F (Original Townsite Residential - Foothill) zone to the R-4-F (Multiple Family Residential - Foothill) zone to allow for the development of additional residential units. This specific item was previously heard on July 16, 2026.
For inquiries or to request a copy of the public notice, individuals may contact Lyle Gibson at the Farmington City offices. Individuals requiring special accommodations for the meeting should notify DeAnn Carlile, City Recorder, at least 24 hours in advance.
