The Dutch John Town Council has scheduled a regular meeting for Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2026, according to a notice published Sept. 8. The meeting is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Dutch John Fire Station located at 560 South Blvd.
The agenda for the upcoming meeting includes a review of the August 26, 2026, meeting minutes and a voucher list for expenditures. The council will also hear reports from various entities, including the Volunteer Fire Department, Planning and Zoning, Building and Grounds, and the Cemetery. Discussion topics include the Freedom Festival scheduled for July 3, 2027, and the America 250 Utah Celebration.
Old business on the agenda includes a discussion and possible action regarding a Union Wireless Franchise Agreement. New business items include business licenses for Dutch John Storage and Cameron Kirwan, as well as potential action on change orders for a conference hall remodel and an amendment to a fire station engineering agreement.
