Work is ongoing at the intersection of Eagle Mountain Boulevard and State Route 73, also known as Cory B. Wride Memorial Highway, as part of a new UDOT traffic signal project.
The new signals have been placed and are anticipated to be powered on Tuesday, June 23, at 9 AM.
During the activation process, officers will be onsite to assist with traffic. Drivers are encouraged to remain attentive and should expect changes in traffic patterns.
Crews will continue restriping throughout this week, which may require traffic to shift as needed. The final road configuration was expected to be completed by Monday, June 22.
The project utilizes a High-T intersection design. This specific design is intended to enhance safety and improve the flow of traffic in the area.
