The reading initiatives will continue into October with the Utah Reads Statewide Read-A-Thon. Scheduled for Friday, October 2, 2026, the event features Governor Spencer Cox and First Lady Abby Cox.
Students and employees within the Provo City School District are scheduled to participate in the statewide event from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Families and community members are encouraged to participate, with specific details available through individual schools.
