In a report published September 8, several Utah prep sports results were recorded across volleyball and girls soccer competitions. The roundup included matchups in Region 14 and 2A South classifications.
In Region 14 girls soccer play on Tuesday, the Richfield Wildcats defeated Providence Hall 8-0. Claire Hulet, Lilly Evensen, and Lexie Decker each scored two goals, while Brielle Tait recorded a shutout.
In 2A South girls soccer play on Tuesday, the South Sevier Rams defeated Gunnison Valley 8-5. Wishlee Bringhurst scored five goals in the victory.
In a separate 2A South matchup on Tuesday, the Grand Red Devils defeated Beaver 4-1. Gemma Phillips scored two goals for the Red Devils, while KaDee Murdock scored for the Beavers.
Also in 2A South girls soccer play on Tuesday, the Millard Eagles defeated Parowan 6-3. Taylie Terry scored two goals for the Eagles. Meg Townsend, Kaisley Isaacson, and Olivia Biasi each scored for the Rams.
In non-region volleyball play, South Sevier defeated North Sevier 3-1.
