Utah County voters are preparing for an upcoming election that will determine the future structure of the Alpine School District, as official voting locations and early voting schedules have been released by Utah County Elections officials. The decision regarding a potential district split will be settled at the polls, following previous high-stakes votes such as the 202/2 Alpine School District Bond Election.
Early Voting and Election Day Locations
According to Utah County Elections records, the upcoming electoral process will provide residents with multiple avenues for casting ballots. Early voting is scheduled to take place at the Utah County Elections Office, located at 100 East Center Street, Suite 3100, in Provo. This early voting window is set to run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the period of October 26th through October 30th, with an additional session on November 2nd.
For those choosing to vote on Election Day, several vote centers will be available throughout the county. These locations are scheduled to open at 7 a.m. and will close promptly at 8 p.m. on election night. Available vote centers include the American Fork Library, Eagle Mountain Overland Barn, Highland City Offices, Lehi Civic Center, Orem Centerpoint Church, Payson City Hall, Pleasant Grove Public Safety Building, Provo Health and Justice Building, Provo Legacy Village, Santaquin City Offices, Saratoga Springs LDS Church, Spanish Fork Recreational Center, and the Springville Civic Center.
Ballot Drop Box Access
In addition to full-service vote centers, Utah County has established an extensive network of ballot drop box locations to accommodate voters. These drop boxes are designed for 24/7 access starting from October 12th through November 3rd at 8 p.m. The county noted that these boxes will open on the Friday before ballots are distributed and will close exactly at 8 p.m. on election night.
Specific drop box locations include the Alpine City Office, American Fork Library (located on the library loop at the back of the building), Cedar Fort City Hall, and the Cedar Hills City Building in Pleasant Grove. Other available sites include the Eagle Mountain City Office, Elk Ridge City Office, Fairfield Government Building, Genola City Office, Goshen Senior Citizen Center, Highland City Office, Lehi City Public Safety Building (on the south side of the Police Station), Lindon City Office, Mapleton City Office, and the Orem City Library.

The availability of drop boxes extends further into southern and western parts of the county. Voters can utilize the Orem Senior Friendship Center, Payson City Office, Pleasant Grove City Office, Provo City Library (at the north end next to the book return), Salem City Library, Santaquin Public Safety Office, Saratoga Springs City Office, Spanish Fork Library, and the Springville Civic Center.
For residents in more centralized or administrative areas, the Utah County Administration Building will offer both walk-up and drive-up drop box options. The walk-up location is situated on the south side of the building next to the USPS mailbox, while the drive-up option is located in the south parking lot. Other specialized locations include the Vineyard City Office in its parking lot, the Utah Valley University site in Orem (north of the Liberal Arts Building), and the Woodland Hills City Office.

Official records from Utah County Elections highlight that the 2022 General Election and the 2022 Alpine School District Bond Election were among the most recent major-scale votes processed by the county's election division.
