The Orem City Council and Timpanogos School District held a joint meeting on August 26, 2026. The meeting was scheduled for 12:30 P.M. at the Council Conference Room.
The meeting included a work session with several discussion items. Jennifer Lyman, Board President, presented regarding a 1st Year Celebration. Dr. Joe Jensen, Superintendent, led discussions on Vision and Values as well as Robust School Criteria.
Additional agenda items included a discussion on a Boundary Study presented by Business Administrator Jason Sundberg. Public Services Director John Dorny presented on Safe Routes and Bus Routes, while Fire Chief Marc Sanderson presented on the Fire Cadet Program. Police Chief BJ Robinson provided information regarding School Resource Officers.
The meeting was held at 56 North State Street, Orem, Utah. The agenda noted that meetings may be held electronically to allow for Councilmember participation.
