The Weber County Commission scheduled a regular meeting for Sept. 1, 2026, according to a notice posted Aug. 28. The meeting is set to commence at 10:00 a.m. in the Commission Chambers located at 2380 Washington Blvd. in Ogden.
The agenda for the meeting includes several consent items and action items. Consent items include requests for approval of purchase orders totaling $232,988.18 and warrants totaling $5,535,116.90. Other agenda items involve the approval of Right of Way contracts for the 2550 South widening project and various contracts for the Golden Spike Event Center involving the Bareback Jack Tour, Whiskey Throttle Race Nights, and the 2026 UQHRA Fall Races.
Additionally, the commission will consider amendments to Local Transportation Funding Agreements with Marriott-Slaterville City and West Haven City. The meeting also includes requests for approval of interlocal agreements with Pleasant View City and Marriott-Slaterville City for survey related services.
Action items for the meeting include resolutions to appoint members to the Weber County Career Service Council and the Weber-Morgan Board of Health. Commissioner Froerer is scheduled to lead the welcome, and Lauren Thomas is scheduled to provide the invocation or a moment of silence.
