The Weber County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on September 8, 2026, to discuss proposed amendments to local land use ordinances, according to a August 27 statement.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 5:00 PM in the County Commission Chambers, located on the first floor of the Weber Center at 2380 Washington Blvd. in Ogden, Utah.
The proposed amendments involve Weber County-driven changes to the Weber County Land Use Ordinance. These changes include amending definitions and provisions that govern the standards and enforcement of Garbage, Junk, and Weeds (LUC 108-7-6) within unincorporated Weber County.
Additionally, the proposal includes amendments to the Fencing Ordinance (LUC 108-7-3).
Copies of the proposals can be reviewed online or at the Weber County Planning Division Office in Suite #240 of the Weber Center.
