Union Middle School has released information regarding its available after-school activities. According to an undated notice on the school's website, most activities take place from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m., though most are canceled during Fall Break week and Parent Teacher Conference week.
The school offers several recurring activities throughout the week. On Mondays, the Animation Group with Mr. Russo was scheduled to begin on Monday, September 14, and meets bimonthly. Tuesday activities include the Crochet Crew with Ms. Draper, which meets bimonthly, and Yearbook with Ms. Kelly, which was scheduled to begin in October.
Wednesday activities include weekly meetings for K-Pop with Ms. Morley, Debate with Mr. Wheeler, and Dungeons and Dragons with Ms. Gold. The Harry Potter group with Ms. Hapairai meets bimonthly. On Thursdays, Fall Sports with Mr. Wright meets bimonthly.
For students unable to participate in the standard after-school programs, the school offers Book Crew and Book Blitz during both C and D lunches. These groups meet monthly, and interested students can see Ms. Zhang in the library.
