Former Lehi High School football stars Legend Glasker and Devaughn Eka made a significant impact in their BYU debuts during a 63-7 win over Utah Tech on Sept. 5, according to a Sept. 7 report by the Lehi Free Press.
Glasker, a true freshman wide receiver, and Eka, a running back, contributed a total of four touchdowns during the game. Both athletes enrolled at BYU early to participate in spring practice following their high school careers.
Glasker, who entered the game as the starting No. 2 receiver, scored three touchdowns in the first half. His first score was a 9-yard rush less than two minutes into the game, followed by a 26-yard reception from sophomore quarterback Bear Bachmeier. He completed his three-touchdown half with a 33-yard reception with 7:47 remaining in the second quarter.
Glasker's performance marked the first time a BYU receiver has posted a three-score game since Puka Nacua against Arkansas in 2022. He is also the first true freshman in NCAA DI to score on his first two career touches since the 2024 season.
Devaughn Eka served as the leading rusher for the Cougars, recording eight carries for 59 yards. His performance included an 11-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter, which served as the final score of the game.
Head Coach Kalani Sitake expressed pride in the receiver room following the victory, noting the depth and talent available to the team.
In addition to the offensive performances, Tausili Akana recorded his first fumble recovery for the Cougars at defensive end during the contest.
