The Fountain Green City Planning Commission will hold its regularly scheduled meeting on Oct. 8, 2026, according to a notice published Oct. 2.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. and is expected to conclude by 9:30 p.m. at the Fountain Green City Hall located at 375 North State Street.
The meeting agenda includes a flag ceremony, prayer, and a review of minutes. Statutory agenda items include simple lot subdivision, conditional use, subdivision applications, and zone changes.
Several building permits will be addressed, including a container for Jason Krebs at 566 W. 300 S., a home for Shaelynn and Schaefer Paulson at 1445 N. 700 W., a shop addition for Tommy Hansen at 386 W. 300 S., a metal carport for Loueda Allan at 373 W. 200 N., and a porch awning for James Beagley at 575 S. 250 W.
Discussion items for the meeting include state requirements for simple lot subdivisions and lot splits, short-term rental permits, and detached accessory dwelling units.
Other business items involve the codification of Civiclinq, a revision of building permit guides, a revision of the simple lot subdivision checklist per Administrative Land Use Authority requirements, and a single building permit application form for all buildings. The commission also has an action item to update the General Plan.
