ESCALANTE CITY PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the Escalante City Planning and Zoning will hold a Public Hearing on
September 22, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in the Escalante City Council Chambers – 65 North Center
Escalante, Utah. This Public Hearing is to adopt Ordinance 2026-10 amending Planning and Zoning
Ordinance Chapter 10.22.030 Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) Development Standards.
The Ordinance is available for review at the City Office and on the City Website

The public is invited to attend the hearing and provide comments. In compliance with the
Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations during this meeting
should notify Escalante City Office at 435-826-4644.
Notice of date, time and agenda for the Public Hearing was posted on the Utah’s Public Notice
Website, https://www.utah.gov/pmn/, Escalante City Website, https://www.escalanteutah.gov and in
two public places within the Escalante City limits on this 8th day of September, 2026. These public
places being 1) Escalante Post Office 2) Escalante City Office.
