Eagle Mountain residents can explore employment opportunities through upcoming Utah job fairs and free local assistance, according to an August 17 report. The resources include in-person and virtual events alongside weekly support from the Utah Department of Workforce Services.
The Utah Valley Job Fair was scheduled for Tuesday, August 25, from 2 to 5 PM at the Utah Valley Convention Center, located at 220 W. Center St. in Provo. This free, in-person event allowed job seekers to meet recruiters, human resources professionals, and hiring managers face-to-face to explore open positions and establish connections with established companies and growing local businesses.
Utah’s Statewide Virtual Job Fair was scheduled for Thursday, September 10, from 10 AM to 1 PM. This virtual event is open to all job seekers, with priority service provided to veterans, military members, and spouses. To participate, job seekers were directed to visit jobs.utah.gov to create an account or sign in to My Job Search. A preparation workshop was also scheduled for the day before the virtual event at 10 AM and 1 PM.
The Utah Department of Workforce Services offers free weekly assistance in Eagle Mountain. Counselors are available every Wednesday from 1 to 4 PM to provide one-on-one help with career exploration, interviews, resumes, and job searches.
