Alpine School District is managing various initiatives, including the opening of free and reduced lunch applications. In an undated notice on the district's site, officials noted that Alpine students are served more than 32,000 meals each school day.
The district is also undergoing significant structural and technological changes. Successor organizations to Alpine School District have approved an agreement regarding the distribution of assets and liabilities. Additionally, the district is preparing for an upgrade to its student information system as part of reconfiguration efforts, moving toward Skyward Qmlativ.
New educational developments include the launch of ASD OpenSciEd, a newly developed elementary science curriculum. Furthermore, a new school was scheduled to open in Eagle Mountain, located west of Cedar Valley High School in the Pinna area.
The district continues to support student success through various programs, including the Accent on Excellence award for educators and the Vision Special Education Services program, which recently saw students recognized in the Utah State Braille Challenge.
