The City of Moab will host a community open house on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2026, to share information and gather input regarding proposed renovations for the Center Street Ballpark.
The event is scheduled to take place from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Grand Center in Moab.
The open house will follow a drop-in format, allowing attendees to arrive at any time during the two-hour window. Local residents are encouraged to attend to learn about the project, provide ideas and preferences, and discuss the project with city staff and design consultants.
Attendees will have the opportunity to review potential design concepts based on recent survey responses and explore the results of that community survey. The event will also allow individuals to ask questions and speak one-on-one with project representatives.
Patrick Trim, the Moab City Parks, Recreation and Trails Director, stated that the ball fields are extremely popular with local residents. Trim expressed a desire for the project to reflect the community's vision and invited the public to share ideas on how to update the facility to meet current and future needs and priorities.
