The Moab City Planning Commission is scheduled to hold a public hearing on September 17, 2026, to discuss proposed changes to the city's annexation policies. The meeting will take place at approximately 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Moab City Offices located at 217 East Center Street.
The hearing is intended to solicit public input on Draft City of Moab Resolution 07-2026. This resolution seeks to adopt the City of Moab Annexation Policy Plan, the City of Moab Future Annexation Boundary Map, and the Anticipated Land Use of Future Annexation Area Map as Appendix C of the City of Moab General Plan.
Interested parties may review all information related to the proposal at the Moab City Offices during regular business hours. These hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Friday. Documentation is available for inspection through September 17, 2026.
