The Ogden Valley City Council scheduled a work session meeting for August 31, 2026, according to a August 29 statement. The meeting is set to begin at 2:00 p.m. at the Huntsville Town Hall Council Chambers.
The meeting agenda includes a presentation by Jeff Perry regarding ideas for law enforcement and a presentation by Kathy Zindel regarding Zoom security. The council is also scheduled to review an interlocal agreement for a crossing guard and Resolution 2026-39, which concerns a Truth-in-Taxation Packet.
Additional agenda items include discussions on an amendment to Municipal Code 2.05 regarding appeal authority and the proposed Shoreline Zone Ordinance. The council will also discuss critical steps for the hiring process, including staffing updates for administrator, public works, and community development manager positions, as well as stipends for the recorder, IT, treasurer, and clerk.
