The Nephi City Planning Commission is scheduled to hold a public hearing on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, to discuss several zone change requests. The meeting will take place at 7:00 p.m. in the city council chambers at 21 E 100 N Nephi.
The purpose of the meeting is to accept public comment on a zone change request initiated by the City of Nephi for four specific properties. The proposed changes involve rezoning properties to the CU2 (Combined Use 2) zone.
Two properties are requested to be rezoned from the CC (Central Commercial) zone to the CU2 zone:
141 W 200 N, a 0.29-acre parcel (XA00-0394-121) owned by Larry and Debra Mace.
153 N 100 W, a 0.19-acre parcel (XA00-0395-) owned by Shane Day.
Two additional properties are requested to be rezoned from the CU1 (Combined Use 1) zone to the CU2 zone:
154 W 100 N, a 0.34-acre parcel (XA00-0393-3) owned by Spencer and Andrea Peterson.
196 W 100 N, a 0.43-acre parcel (XA00-0393-1) owned by Ronald and Louann Thalman.
