Funeral services for EvaLou Wright were held Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the Moab LDS Stake Center, according to an announcement from Spanish Valley Mortuary.

The memorial service took place at 11:00 a.m. at 701 Locust Lane, with a viewing held one hour before the start of the ceremony. Following the services, burial was conducted at Grand Valley Cemetery.
Friends and community members shared tributes to Wright's life on social media following the announcement. Holly Dinsmore, who knew Wright through her time volunteering at WabiSabi, described her as a "total gem" and a hard worker.

Dinsmore noted that Wright was highly knowledgeable regarding the uses and rough value of antique items and possessed deep local connections within the community. Dinsmore recalled how Wright would often use her free time from respite care responsibilities to shop at WabiSabi before eventually becoming a regular volunteer.
Other community members, including Cindy Cowan and Elain Mccormick, expressed condolences and shared messages of sympathy following the news of Wright's passing.
