An emergency water shutdown was announced in a notice posted to the Ogden City website due to a pipeline requiring immediate repair. The shutdown affects Century Drive from Woodbury Drive to 700 S. and 430 W. from Century Drive to 600 S.
According to the city notice, hydrants in the affected area will be impacted by the shutdown. Residents may experience discolored water as a result of the repair work.
City officials recommend that residents run the cold water faucet in a bathtub until the water clears to help flush home water lines. It is recommended that residents do not use hot water or wash light colored laundry until the water runs clear.
Water crews will flush lines in the area once the emergency repairs are finished. Residents are asked to notify the city if discoloration continues.
Service restoration was estimated for 3:00 PM on 8/26/2026. Questions may be directed to 801-629-8321 during business hours.
