The North Ogden City Council is scheduled to meet on September 1, 2026, at 6:00 PM at City Hall, according to an agenda published August 27.
The upcoming meeting agenda includes a presentation and review of the 2026 Cherry Days celebration metrics, outcomes, community feedback, and recommendations for future events. Rian-Paige Strand, the City Recorder, is scheduled to present this information.
Additionally, City Manager/City Attorney Jon Call is scheduled to lead annual training regarding Utah Open and Public Meetings Act requirements. This training will cover meeting procedures, including Robert’s Rules of Order, agenda practices, and public comments.
The public may attend the meeting in person at 505 E 2600 N, North Ogden, UT 84414, or participate electronically via Zoom or YouTube.
During public comments, citizens may address the Council or Mayor regarding city business. Participants are asked to limit remarks to five minutes each and must state their name and city of residence.
The meeting will include a welcome by Mayor Barker and an invocation or thought and pledge of allegiance by Council Member Watson. The council reserves the right to rearrange agenda items or enter into a closed meeting in accordance with state law.
