Utah fire agencies and first responders are posting tributes to honor three firefighters who were killed in a wildfire on the Colorado-Utah border.
The news comes during a period of high activity for emergency personnel in the region.
Sunday was a demanding day for Utah firefighters and other first responders. New and existing wildfires required immediate and ongoing attention.
In addition to fire suppression efforts, responders were assisting residents who needed help reaching homes they might be forced to evacuate again on very short notice.
